The passing of Glenn H. Gingrich of New Holland, Pennsylvania, born in Myerstown, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Gingrich and Mabel Horning Gingrich; his granddaughter Christina Gingrich; and his sister Sylvia Ebersole. He is survived by: his sons, Bruce (Migdalia Gingrich) of New Holland and Brenden; his mother-in-law Melissa Gingrich of San Diego; his daughter Lisa Gingrich (Vernon Fisher) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Maritza Gingrich, Kathryn Gingrich, Samuel (Jasmine Gingrich), Benjamin Gingrich and Elizabeth Gingrich; and his siblings, Elaine Doutrich of Myerstown, Ruth (Galen Martin) of Myerstown, Naomi (Harold Martin) of Wolmesdorf, James Gingrich of Leola and Judith.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hinkletown Mennonite Church (2031 Division Hwy, Ephrata, PA 17522). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Hinkletown Mennonite Church, Ukraine Relief Fund.
