He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Houck and Romaine Diem Houck of New Holland, PA.; his wife Edith; his son David L. Houck; and his siblings, Donald Detter and Doris Meyers.
He is survived by: his daughter Janice E Hauck of Ephrata, PA; his daughter-in-law Donna J. Houck of California, MD; his sister Alice; his grandchildren, Jessica L Bitner (Todd), Christopher S Hauck (Susan), Steven T Hauck Aberdeen, MD, Gabrielle Houck Australia, Alexander Houck, MD of California and Justine Woodburn (Scott); and his great grandchildren, Logan, Avery, Cameron Bitner, Kasey, Jaxon Hauck, Desmond, Aveline and Hollis Woodburn.
