She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elmer S., Jr. and Jeanne M. Strause (Swartz); her sons, John K. Brubaker, III and Mark E. Brubaker of Coatesville; her husband Lancaster; her siblings, J. Renee (Roger Alley) and Delvin T of Strause Reading, PA; and her sister-in-law Lynne E. Brubaker.
