It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amos Martin (New Holland, Pennsylvania), born in East Earl, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 30, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan S. Martin and Magdalena Z. Martin (Zimmerman); his former wife Emma Ruth Martin (Fox); his son Glenn; and his siblings, Paul, Ivan, Aaron, Harvey Martin, Emma Martin, Ada Martin, Lena Martin, Katie Nolt and Anna Reiff.
He is survived by: his wife Esther M. Martin (Newswanger); his children, Harold F. (Etta), Lois (Titus Garman), Floyd (Susan), Jere (Louella), Ruth (Amos Zeiset), Nelson (Anna Mae), Maryann (Mark Martin), Vernon Amos (Lucille), Luella (Steven Martin), Larry (Erla) and Elvin (Miriam); his daughter-in-law Ruth Martin (Leinbach) of Shelby, OH; his sister Esther Hoover; and his siblings-in-law, Edwin Nolt and Frances Martin. He is also survived by 75 grandchildren, 162 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at his late home on Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
