He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron H. Kurtz and Edna B. Kurtz; and his siblings, John Kurtz (Louella), Norman Kurtz, Elva Zeiset (David) and Jane Nolt (Melvin).
He is survived by: his wife Janet Landis Kurtz; his children, Lara Blocksom (Justin) and David Kurtz (Jessica); his grandchildren, Ryan Blocksom, Benjamin Blocksom, Madilyn Kurtz and Cooper Kurtz; and his siblings, Vera S. Kurtz, Willis S. Kurtz (Ann) and Edna S. Shonk (Glenn).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fairmount Homes Wheat Ridge Chapel (333 Wheat Ridge Dr, Ephrata, PA 17522). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
