He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard F. Roupe and Stella Johns Roupe; and his sons, Cephus Lee Roupe and Donal Gregory Roupe. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Caroline Tennant Roupe; his sons, Gerald Eric Roupe of New Freeport, PA, Andrew Todd Roupe of New Freeport, PA and Randall Mark Roupe of Martin; and his close friend Megan Young. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Don't Stop Dreaming, 612 N. Main Street, Butler, PA 16001.
