The memory of Sarah C. Herbert of New Freedom, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sr. Smithson and Edna Smithson (Rosier); her husband Wilson; her son Joseph S. Herbert; her grandson Joseph Herbert, Jr.; and her siblings, William Jr., Ruth, Ruby, Richard and Mary Lou.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kelly Silk, Patti Cohn (Doug) and Steven Herbert (Lori); and her great grandchildren, Christopher Silk, Shane Silk, Carli Cohn, Abby Herbert and Olivia Herbert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc. - New Freedom (24 N 2nd St, New Freedom, PA 17349). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Stablers Cemetery -Parkton (1233 Stablers Church Rd, Parkton, MD 21120).
