She was predeceased by: her parents, Orie Shaffer and Nora Shaffer (Fritz); and her grandson Mark McNew. She is survived by: her spouse Newman J. Wood; her siblings, Bernice, Gladys, Dorothy, Martha, Mary, Kenneth, Larnid, Malden and Walter; her children, Gail E. McNew of New Freedom and Joseph N. Wood (Teresa) of Etters; her grandson Logan Wood (Megan); and her great grandchildren, Morgan and Quinton McNew.
