He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark H. Hopkins and Iona Hopkins (Miller); and his daughter Rebekah Sue Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Hopkins; his children, Deborah (Tim Bullock), John Hopkins, Rev. Michael A. Hopkins (Shelly) and Elizabeth (Mark Choquette); and his sisters, Ann Wolcott and Joan (Gene Smith). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
