He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Earl and Marion Susie Welsh (Lewis); his stepson Steven Fogle; and his siblings, Earl Welsh, Virginia DeVilbliss and Ruth Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Welsh (Schaeffer); his children, Shelley Sarmiento St. Holmes (Derek), Whitney Welsh Cochran (Stanley) and Matthew Welsh; and his stepdaughter Michelle Sproul (Brian).
