It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Mathew Bartell of New Freedom, Pennsylvania, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Bartell (Hetrick); and his brother Dean Bartell. He is survived by: his father Herbert Bartell; his wife Sue; his son Nick Bartell (Nicki); his grandson Chase; his siblings, Debbie Stiegler (Denny), David Bartell (Sandy), Denise Hossler (Keith) and Dennis Bartell (Kim); and his brother-in-law Skip Zickmund. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
