He was predeceased by: his parents, James Courtney and Althea Courtney (Abbott). He is survived by: his children, Jennifer and Donald Courtney; his grandchildren, Cassie and Chris; his sister Donna Courtney of Summerville, SC; and his cousin Bud Waller. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
