He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Dietz and C. Genevieve Dietz (Kunkle); his granddaughter Melinda Rae Mann; and his brother William H. Dietz. He is survived by: his wife Peggy J. Dietz (Kirk); his children, Kelley L. (Watkins-Mann), Renoll (Jim) and Paul J. Dietz (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Douglas M. Watkins and Cheyenne E. Dietz; and his sister Elsie V. Channell (Norman). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Prospect Cemetery Association, at 8 Orchard Road, New Park, PA 17352, St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, or any veteran's organization.
