He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ludwig (Tosh); his sons, Robert Ludwig (Judy), Richard Ludwig (Amy), Rodney Ludwig (Chris) and Russell Ludwig (Miranda); his grandchildren, Rob (Amy), Jessica (Tim), Jeremy, Patrick, Emma, Jenna and Caleb; his great grandchildren, Joy and Grace; and his sister Kay Ludwig.
