He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Robel and Pauline Robel (Poehner); his wife Margaret J. Robel (Gehring); his siblings, Kathleen Robel, Betty Ann Dobson, Dorothy Tilley, Vivian Petry, Richard Robel and Theodore Robel; and his sons-in-law, Robert Forquer and Frank Pejack.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Robel, Deborah Forquer and Brenda Pejack; and his grandchildren, Pam, Jen, Kelly and Bobby. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church.
