Emily Rae Waters Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emily Rae Waters of New Florence, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman D., Sr. and Anna M Glessner (Weighley); her husband George Waters; and her sisters, Hazel Sechler (Margaret Bloch) and Pauline Glessner.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Waters (Annie), Cindy Knupp (Jeff) of Beaverdam, VA, David Waters (Sue) and Daniel Waters (Susie) of Greenville, SC; her grandchildren, Julia Waters, Christie MacAvoy, Cassey Jukkola, Charles Jeffrey Knupp, Corey Knupp, David Waters, Jr., Kenneth Waters, Bethany Clare Klopfer, Bruce Waters and Starr Daly; and her siblings, Wilma Klingler, Mary Mohr of Ocean City, N. J., Helen Woolsloyer, Connie Glessner and Sherman Donald Glessner, Jr.. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shannon Creek Baptist Church (366 Shannon Creek Rd, New Florence, PA 15944). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fairfield Cemetery.
