She was predeceased by: her parents, George Penrose and Mary Penrose (Burkett); her husband Dennis W. Boring; and her brother Mark Penrose. She is survived by: her children, Craig A. Boring (Melissa Cochran), Valerie A. Smith (Joseph), Melissa S. Steffey (Curtis) and Stacy L. Boring; her grandchildren, Joey, Katilyn, Shawn, James of Jennah, C. J. and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Karlee, Teagan, Walter and Evalyn; and her brother Dennis Penrose (Diane).

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made the Untied Area Food Pantry, 818 Aulds Run Road, Homer City, PA 15748.
