He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Kisamore and Agnes Violet Kisamore (DeWitt); and his sisters, Wanda Berkstresser and Judy Kinzey. He is survived by: his sister Glenda Howard; and his brother-in-law Ronald "Mike" Berkstresser. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
