He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester A. Swartz and Mary Evangeline Swartz (Ulery). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Swartz (Caffey); his children, Suzanne Andrews (George) of Sun City, AZ and Donald R. Swartz of Huntingdon; and his sisters, Peg Wachter of New Enterprise and Josephine Brayfield of Georgia. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray's name can be made to the Bedford County or Blair County Humane Societies.
