He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grimes and Ethel Grimes (Baker); his siblings, Audrey F. Swope, Dolores McCarty, Joyce Tenley, D. Richard Grimes, Dale Grimes and Gary Grimes; and his siblings-in-law, Alma Grimes, Edwin McCarty, Rex Morgret and Richard Imes.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly S. Imes (Jeffrey) of New Enterprise, PA, Rod A. Grimes (Kim N.), New Enterprise and Randy D. Grimes (Valerie); his grandchildren, Corey Imes (Nicole), Cassi Mehaffey (Justin), Cody Grimes (Kaitlin), Jasmine Wade (Jonathan), Zane Grimes (Katie), Elias Grimes and Reaghan Grimes; his great grandchildren, Chase Imes, Cooper Imes, Reese Grimes, Quinn Grimes, Briggs Grimes, Davis Mehaffey, Stella Mehaffey, Piper Wade and Ivy Wade; his siblings, Marcella Morgret, Darrell Grimes and Mereta Imes; and his sister-in-law Ruthann Grimes.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren (3715 Brumbaugh Rd, New Enterprise, PA 16664). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren (3729 Brumbaugh Rd, New Enterprise, PA 16664).
