It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Marlene Detterline of New Enterprise, Pennsylvania, born in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kessler Alvie and Gladys Irene Shaw (Smith); her husband Charles Melvin Detterline; and her daughter Corinna Jo. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Patterson of New Enterprise, Vickie Detwiler of New Enterprise, Charlotte Holsinger of New Enterprise, Charles Neal Detterline of Dudley, Sharon Reininger of New Enterprise and Melvin Detterline of Hopewell; her siblings, Robert N. Shaw, Judith McClellan, Donna Simington and Sue Sassaman; and her pet Sadie. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
