He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Leidy and Elizabeth Leidy (Trent); and his siblings, Mary Labee and Russell Leidy. He is survived by: his wife Claretta J. Howard; his children, J. Brant Leidy of New Enterprise, Kevin L. Leidy (Melissa) of Roaring Spring and Heather Collins (Ted) of Dripping Springs, TX; his granddaughters, Breanna Leidy, Taylor Leidy and Rain Collins; and his siblings, Willa Henry (Ron), Fay Sipes, Linda Metzler (Durban), Gretchen Metzler (Rodney) and John Leidy (Pat).

Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private graveside service will be held for family at Holsinger Cemetery, Bakers Summit, his son, Pastor J. Brant Leidy officiating.
