With solemn reverence, we commemorate Margaret Vlanich of New Eagle, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on December 10, 2024 at the age of 95, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Metcalf and Laura Garvin Metcalf; her husband Stephen Vlanich; her former husband James MacFarlane; her children, Daniel J. MacFarlane and Linda B. Beresford; and her siblings, Garvin, Donald, N. Robert, Richard and Clifford Metcalf.
She is survived by: her children, John M. MacFarlane of New Eagle, Beth E. Shipe (Darl) of Carroll Township and Paul A. MacFarlane (Laurie) of New Eagle; her grandchildren, Loretta McConnell (Brian), Wendy Little (Gary), Pamela Lesner (Mike), Walter Kotecki (Stacy), Dayna MacFarlane, Deana MacFarlane Honeycut, Sean MacFarlane, Tina Davis (Tony), Amanda Dermont (Jon), Amy Rich (James), Maggie Keeton (Tim), Cole MacFarlane (Patty), Josie MacFarlane and Amber Berkich; and her sister-in-law Pat Metcalf of Belle Vernon. She is also survived by thirty great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Frye Funeral Home, Inc. (427 W Main St, Monongahela, PA 15063). A prayer was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
