With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lena D. Ballein (New Eagle, Pennsylvania), born in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 13, 2018 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Eugene Ballein; her daughter Paula Kusmierek; her daughter-in-law Kathie Ballein; and her siblings, Philip Vignoli, Patsy Vignoli, Justine Vignoli, Sam Vignoli, Mary Merolillo, Louise Frankowic, Rose Fidanzato and Angeline Rose.
She is survived by: her parents, Guy Vignoli and Carmella Mariani Vignoli; her son Donald Ballein of Monongahela; her grandchild Raymond P. Calfo, Jr.; her wife Catherine Ballein; her great grandchild Paula Calfo; and also Alyssa Ballein. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
