He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Doty, Charles Doty, Arthur Doty, George Doty and Bertha Thinsky.
He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Doty and Susie Valiani Doty; his wife Gloria Romito Doty; his children, Richard Doty (Carole) of Carrollton and Joyce McAneny (Peter) of Mars; his grandsons, Brian Doty, Jason Doty (Christie), Christopher McAneny (Melissa), Michael McAneny (Ashley) and David McAneny; his great grandchildren, Brylee, Austin, Landon, Grady Doty and Evan McAneny; and his sister Mabel Antcil of New Eagle.
