She was predeceased by: her father Bernhard Vatter; her daughter Susan Elisa; and her sisters, Elizabeth Westrich and Ursula Hartmann. She is survived by: her husband Fritz Tillmann; her daughters, Barbara Tillmann and Christine Van Gorder (Robert); her grandchildren, Eric Van Gorder (Andrea), Lucas Van Gorder and Elizabeth Van Gorder; and her great grandchild Lorelei Van Gorder.
