With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Stephen George Kostelec of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kostelec and Janet Kostelec (Shoop); and his brother James Kostelec, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Reihart; his children, Daniel Kostelec (Tara Clifford) of Gilbertsville, NY and Jesse Morflak (Michael) of Monroeville, PA; the mother of his children Mary B. Kostelec (Brown); his stepchildren, Cameron Blackburn of New Cumberland, PA and Hannah Cizek (David) of Washington, PA; his siblings, Michael Kostelec, David Kostelec, Joanne Fink (Steve), Patti Zimmerman and Laurie Eck; his niece Rachael; his in-laws, Gary and Beverly Reihart; his sister-in-law Denise Bernatos (Bob); and his friends, Mike, Steve Slabonik and Bill Lingle.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Unitarian Church of Harrisburg (1280 Clover Ln, Harrisburg, PA 17113).
Steve's wishes were to donate his body for the betterment of others, and he did just that by way of organ donation and the anatomical gifts program.
