He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Bowen and Viola V. Bowen (Reed); his wife Doris L. Bowen (Seiler); his granddaughter Kim Houser-Keefer; his great grandchild Zachary Myers; his son-in-law Harry Houser Jr.; and his siblings, John, Donald, Loretta and Linda.
He is survived by: his children, Glenda Houser of New Cumberland and David P. Bowen (Joann) of Etters; his grandchildren, Shanna L. Houser of New Cumberland, Meghan Sheraw (Matthew) of Camp Hill and Christopher Bowen of State College; his great grandchildren, Sarah Junkins, Madison Lolo (Roudly), Hannah Keefer and Claire Sheraw; his great great grandchildren, Oakley Myers, Carter Junkins, Zion Lolo, Emma Clark and McKyah Pierre; and his sisters, Nancy Foose of Port Royal and Doris Mesner of Lewistown.
