He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph James Grier and Anna Mae Grier. He is survived by: his sister Patricia A. Kropff of Scottdale, PA; his nephew Ryan P. Kropff (Renee); and also, Samantha Anne, Avery Elizabeth of Eldersburg, MD and Matthew R. Kropff of Wyomissing, PA..
