He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ross and Elizabeth Gail Reed (Johnson); his wife Catherine "Cathy" Reed; and his brother Charles Reed. He is survived by: his children, Jason Reed (Michele) and Sara Reed (Dan); and his siblings, Bonnie Fritz, Samuel Ross Reed, Jr., Jim O'Donnell, Elizabeth Shellenberger and Thomas Reed.
