He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel "Shorty" Nieves and Carmen Rosado Nieves of Springfield, MA.; and his brother Israel "Bill" Nieves. He is survived by: his children, Angel Nieves, Jr. (Danielle) of Huntington, PA, Michael J. Nieves, Sr. of Carlisle, PA, Lisa M. Jones (Torrey) of New Cumberland, PA, Kenneth Nieves (Ashley) of Millerstown, PA, Daniel O. Nieves (Britany) of Florida, Steven D. Nieves of Lancaster, PA and Celina Nieves of Etters, PA; and his siblings, Manuel Nieves Rosado of Springfield, MA, Sofia Ortiz of Florida, Yolanda Feliciano of Harrisburg, PA, Margarita Nieves of Springfield, MA, Jose Nieves of Loysville, PA and Jorge Nieves of York, PA. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
