It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret H. Koons of New Columbia, Pennsylvania, born in Coal Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Sarfine and Agnes Sarfine (Kotkoskie); her husband Abram M. Koons; her son-in-law Charles S. Young; and her siblings, Marie B. Robenolt, Theresa Dobra, Loise Barron, Rex Sarfine, Martin Sarfine, Sam Sarfine, Danny Sarfine and Louis "Bud" Sarfine.
She is survived by: her children, Krystal Young of New Columbia and Abram M. Koons Jr. (Christine) of Kratzerville; her grandchildren, Andrea Young Mikowski (Andrew), Nathan Young (Kelly Rein) and Dustin Koons (Kirsten Krebs); her great grandchild Brody Koons; and her sister Bernice Yocum of Phoenixville.
