He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Richards and Frieda Richards (McClelland); his sisters, Carol J. Pearson and Rosalynn Richards; his half-sister Helane Baldwin; and his brother-in-law Charles Wingfield.
He is survived by: his wife Joan D. Richards (Rung); his children, Jacqueline Manolis (Nicholas) of New Castle, Susan Otlowski of New Castle and Jeffrey Richards (Chris) of Finley Lake, NY; his sister Judith Wingfield of New Castle; and his grandchildren, Craig Richards, Autumn Richards, Taylor Ross (Sean), Maddison Azevedo (Conor) and Julia Manolis.
