He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Stiefel and Hattie Newton Stiefel; his daughter Chrystal Lynn Dokin (Dimitar); and his brother Earl Stiefel. He is survived by: his wife Lois Hilke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
