She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Minto and Veda Minto (Putt); her husband James R. "Jim" Benson; and her siblings, Isabelle, Dorothy, Wilda, Virginia, Twila, Don, Tom and Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Steele (Bernie) of New Castle, Joanne Stuart (John) of New Castle, Grace Benson of New Castle, Renee Kerr (David) of New Castle, April Clark (Chris) of New Castle, Marc Benson (Shelly) of Erie, PA, John Benson (Christine), Jim Benson (Candice) and Bill Benson (Susan) of Frizzleburg, PA.; and her sister Barbara Hartman. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
