She was predeceased by: her parents, John Book and Margaret Book; and her sisters, Carol Book, Mary Mitchell and Donna Stanich.
She is survived by: her husband Allan A. Hudack; her son Jeffrey A. Brown of Sharon, PA; her grandchildren, Cassandra Smith (Sean) and Johnathan Brown (Reina Smith); and her sisters, Edna Anderson, Betty Jane Uder and Barbara Warsing.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home (926 Cunningham Ave, New Castle, PA 16101). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel (926 Cunningham Ave, New Castle, PA 16101).
Sandy was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and had a team for Paint the Town Pink called, "Our Little Angel Johnathan", for many years.
