He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Walthall; his son Robert Jeffery Walthall; and his sisters, Kira Evelyn Dodson, Ann Harrison and Louise Waller.
He is survived by: his parent Lilly Oda Waller Walthall; his wife Corrouda Cox; and his children, Elsie Belinda Allen of Columbus, OH, Olenthia Diane Rinehart (late Robert) of Columbus, OH, Nancy Regina Doster (Robert) of Columbia, SC, Charles G. Walthall of Columbus, OH, Tara L. Molina of Pittsburgh, PA and Kira L. Davis (Starlette) of New Castle, PA. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
