He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Moore (Dennis) of New Castle, Merry Needler (Greg) of New Castle and Cathy Exposito (Todd) of New Castle; his granddaughters, Amy Smith (Jeff), Amanda Trotter (Tom), Courtney Exposito (Ashlee) and Ashley Darabant (Jim); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Ethan, Louis, Tony, Austyn, Avery and Lily; his brother Col. H. Lawrence Gerlach (Patty); his niece Megan Bash (Jeremy); and his nephews, Robert Bash and Travis Gerlach.
