He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Panella, Sr. and Bessie Varvette Panella; his son Michael Panella, III; and his siblings, John C., Norman Panella, Anna Cugini, Jeanie Stevenson and Betty Lou McCormick.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Heaney; his son Jeffrey Panella; his siblings, Anthony "Bozo" Panella (Terri), Steven Ropchak and Nettie Platt (Bill); and his niece Amy Page. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (941 S Mill St, New Castle, PA 16107). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
