It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Pumphrey of New Castle, Pennsylvania, born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond LeRoy and Bessie Aretta Bish Young; her husband Jackie L. Pumphrey; her son-in-law Merle James Grim (Bubb); and her siblings, Donald Sr., Richard Sr., Shirley, Imagene Young and Sandra Sheets.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Pumphrey Jr. (Darlene) of New Castle, Jeffrey Pumphrey Sr. of New Castle, Judith Grim of New Castle, Debbie Suchyta (Jeff) of Lafayette, GA, Cynthia Steele of Midland and Brenda Estermyer (Ron) of Chickamauga, GA; her brother Robert Young (Carole) of Indiana; and her sister-in-law Margaret Young of Industry, PA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
