Mariann L. Manzo Obituary
In loving memory of Mariann L. Manzo of New Castle, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on April 12, 2025 at the age of 95. Mariann leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gibson and Susan Gibson (Vargo); her husband John J. Manzo, Sr.; her sister Ellen Warner; and her son-in-law Jeffrey C. Maier.
She is survived by: her children, John J. Manzo, Jr. (Chris), Susan Dzemyan (Dan) and Maureen Maier; her brother George W. Gibson (Karin); and her grandchildren, Jason Maier (Jamie), Julie Cook (Jeremy), Melissa Maiella (Dwayne), Matthew Manzo (Jess), Erin Bigham (Frits), Justine Dear (Trevin) and Danielle Rohal (Alex). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (941 S Mill St, New Castle, PA 16107). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish (910 S Mercer St, New Castle, PA 16101).
