She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd C. Smock and Effie Smock (Wimer); her husband Kenneth L. Kennedy; and her stepson J. Darrell Kennedy. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Kennedy of Boca Raton, Florida; her stepchildren, Robert Kennedy (Jane) of Butler, PA and Beverly Horton (Don) of Grovetown, GA; her stepdaughter-in-law Joan Kennedy of Virginia Beach, VA; her grandchildren, Kelly (Rob), Timothy, Matthew, Mark, Gretchen (Scott), Donald (Meg) and Amanda (Brian); and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Joseph, Alexander, Samuel, Grace and Lilee.
