He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thomas (Lutch); his children, Scott Thomas (Laura) of Stow, OH and Karen Durrett of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; his sister Sandra Kite of New Castle, PA; and his niece Susan Kite of New Castle, PA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
