She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John D. Hite and Dorothy Hite (Stafford); her former husband Edward L. Kay; her sons, Mark Nord (Stacy) of New Castle and Matthew Nord (Karen) of New Castle; her grandchildren, Madison, Daniel, Leo and Katherine Nord; and her brother John D. Hite of Pittsburgh, PA. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
