As we bid John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patsy Donofrio and Josephine'Tina' Donofrio (Lupo). He is survived by: his wife Norma Donofrio (Sankey); his children, Jonalynn Duffee (Sean) of New Castle, PA, Jordyn Merritt (Jeff) of New Castle, PA, Joe Donofrio (Renee) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Justin Donofrio (Barbara) of Camp Hill, PA; his brother Patrick Donofrio; and his grandchildren, Skylar Duffee, Noah Donofrio, Connor Donofrio, Luciana Donofrio and Dominick Donofrio.
A memorial service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Northminster Presbyterian Church (2434 Wilmington Rd, New Castle, PA 16105).
