John D. Docherty Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John D. Docherty of New Castle, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Docherty and Alberta A. Docherty (Lynn); his wife Pamela D. Docherty (Rice); and his daughter Jill Docherty. He is survived by: his son Eric Docherty of Harmony, PA; his son-in-law Derek Duffee; his grandson Gordon Duffee of Grays Lake, IL; and his siblings, Terri Kaufman (Kim) of Boalsburg, PA, Edward Docherty (Joan) of Pittsburgh, PA and Patrick Docherty (Nadine) of Grafton, WV. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the J. Bradley McGonigle F. H. & Crematory, Inc. - New Castle (111 W Falls St, New Castle, PA 16101). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the ALS Association of Western Pennsylvania, 416 Lincoln Ave, Millvale, PA 15209.
