He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mershimer and Eva Mershimer; his wife Ethel; and his siblings, Helen, Jean, Lois, Edna, Edith, Doris and Joe.
He is survived by: his daughter Lori of New Castle; his siblings, Richard of Sharon, Pennsylvania and Eleanor of New Castle; his niece Susie; and his nephew Mark. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
