With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Elizabeth Daugherty (New Castle, Pennsylvania), born in Sabraton, West Virginia, who passed away on October 12, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edward and Beulah Matilda Andorfer (Schenck); her husband Thomas Louis Daugherty; her son Bryant M. Daugherty; her brothers, Cortland S. Andorfer and Caleb "Max" Andorfer; and her son-in-law Anthony Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Daugherty (Maureen) of New Castle, Terri Gray of Akron, OH and Tammi Bennett (Todd) of Independence, KY; her grandchildren, Carleen Daugherty, Michael Daugherty, Darnell Gray, Zachary Bennett and Ashley Bennett (Ian Conley); and her great grandchildren, Taliyah and Syncier Gray.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice of Edgewood Kentucky, 483 South Loop Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017.
