James S. Gay Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James S. Gay of New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 29, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James S. Markley and Helen Markley Gay (Murray); his former wife Regina Godinez; and his wife Karen Sabino. He is survived by: his children, Yolanda Gentsy of New Castle, Jackie Slade (Kelvin) of New Castle, Richard Gay (Gretchen) of Lancaster, SC, Angela Navarro (Armando) of Grove City, PA., Michele Roth (Steve) of New Castle and Lori Roth; his grandchildren, Jordan, Alyssa, Anthony, Gabriella, Antonio, Adan, Andres, Ariana and AJ; his stepgrandchildren, Gio, Danielle, Deanna and Jenna; his siblings, Carol Manenti (Tony) of Durham, NC, Gail Matteo (Frank) of New Castle, Gary Gay (Mary) of New Castle and Richard Gay of New Castle; and his close friends, Jeff Withrow, Joe Hamed and Tom Altman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins.
