He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Pounds, and Doris Pounds, Sr. (Harvey); his son Christopher M. Pounds; and his siblings, Jamie Pounds and Lisa Pounds.
He is survived by: his sons, James L. Pounds, III (Amanda) of Monessen, PA and Brian L. Pounds of Vestaburg, PA; and his siblings, Andrew Pounds, Leroy Pounds, Ruth Ann Lewis, Rita Combs and Jamie Dietrich (Melissa Ritter). He is also survived by four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter.
